Hope For Haiti: Grace Sends First Team to Haiti
Grace sent its first team to Haiti in July to help with earthquake relief. The team of 15 Grace members delivered 60 water filtration kits, medicine and led children's programs at Church of the Redeemer schools in Savanne Pistach, a poor area of Port-au-Prince, and Camatin, a mountainous community south of Port-au-Prince. The team also helped prepare a residence that will serve as a base for future Grace teams. Through all of their work, over 700 people heard the good news of Jesus Christ. Grace is sending a second team August 21-27 to participate in construction projects.

Back-to-School Bash: 8/18 ... 6:30-8:00 p.m., Cullum Hall
A new day is dawning for the families of Grace Baptist Church. All parents of children, infants through 5th grade, are invited to come hear the exciting vision for the Children's Ministry and the great opportunities for their families to grow over the next year at Grace. After the time of sharing, parents can sign their children up for this year's AWANA program, and then the whole family is invited to have a blast in the back parking lot with food and games.

Saturday Serve: 8/14 ... 8:30-Noon, Meet in Cullum Hall
Join us for a Saturday morning of making our campus look great. After a free breakfast, we'll work outside putting down mulch, pressure-washing sidewalks, cleaning windows and pulling weeds.

Day Trip to Shatley Springs & Frescoes: 8/26 ... North Carolina
Group will depart Grace at 8:00 a.m., eat lunch at Shatley Springs at 11:30 and see the Frescoes at 1:00 p.m. Group will return around 8:00 p.m. after having dinner en route home. There is a $5.00 transportation cost. All costs are out of pocket.
